It’s been 439 days since our family first stepped foot in the enchanting country of the Philippines. Since then, we’ve returned from the U.S. 3 more times, visited 23 of its 7,000 islands, and experienced everything from off-grid houseboats and beachfront glamping to chicken blood and fertilized duck embryos.
