To check whether your laptop has a hard disk drive (HDD) or a solid-state drive (SSD), you can follow these steps:

Remember, if your laptop has both an HDD and an SSD, the operating system is usually installed on the primary drive (C:), which is typically an SSD for faster performance. The HDD may be present as a secondary storage device for additional storage capacity.
