HEAVY RAIN AND STRONG WINDS • NOT SOLO CAMPING IN HEAVY RAIN

The dry season is still not over. It's very hot in the city where we live. Luckily, we was still met with rain when we camped. In the forest, the weather is cooler and fresher. Plus the heavy rain that can still be found here. We also camped for 2 days in the forest near my house. In this not solo camping, we caught in heavy rain and strong winds, especially in the night.

It snowed 30 inches (76 cm) in less than 12 hrs but I was comfy and warm in my dugout shelter (snow cave) under 10 feet (3 meters) of snow. I built a mass snow cave the size of a small cabin carved from the snow in the Alaskan Mountains. But while the solo camping was comfortable, the return home was very not, my poor car was buried and it took me 3 hrs to dig myself to freedom and only after a lot of help from strangers.

Solo camping heavy rain all day. Today I camped late, because it was only in the afternoon to the camping site, so I set up my tent in the afternoon and it was already dark. This is the coldest outing I have been on to date. The temperature dropped all the way down to -36 degrees Celsius by the morning. All that was brought with me is what you see... 5 simple items. This was certainly a test of my abilities in the outdoors but enjoyable nonetheless. Thank you to everyone who watches! God bless.

My Clothing:
Outer layer - Waxed cotton
Insulating layers- Wool & Cotton
Base layer - Cotton

I get criticized a lot because I choose to wear cotton in the outdoors. Argue about it all you want but if you keep it dry it insulates almost as good as wool. Keep your clothes dry and they'll keep you warm. Don't ever depend on wet clothing to keep you warm... even if it's wool. Keep. It. Dry.

Are there wild animals in this area?
Yes. There's a variety of big game (moose, deer, grizzly bears, black bears, cougars, wolves) in this area. They tend to avoid humans for the most part though and don't pose much of a threat. I do carry a form of protection just in case.

How did I manage to sleep in such cold temperatures?
Simply put: my fire. Having a large, hot fire is the reason I was able to stay comfortable throughout the night despite not having any bedding. The fire I made was as simple as it gets in terms of long fires. I probably should have built it differently to conserve the wood but it was still an effective fire that did it's job.

NOT SOLO CAMPING IN ENDLESS RAIN • CAMPING IN NONSTOP RAIN

We went not solo camping when it rained. Even though it's still summer, it still rains in my area. We also built tarps and tents when it rained. Even though it wasn't too heavy, the rain made us wet. After the tent was up, we made dinner accompanied by the rain. It rained all night, even into the morning. We enjoyed our not solo camping in enedless rain.

I wanted to try myself in a new adventure. I was caught in the storm with my dog ​​Sıla. No water, no food, no shelter. I produced steam with the primitive method and water with the humidity method on the ground. I caught a great huge octopus. I cooked the Greek style octopus. Sila loved the octopus.

The weather was very bad, there was a storm. I left the area on the morning of the 2nd day. I took refuge in a cave on a quieter island.
