We're staying with our friend Ann in a little village in Phichit province for a while and thought we'd show you around.

First up was a tour of Ann's beautiful wooden Thai house before a full English breakfast with imported bacon and black pudding!

We took part in the morning buddhist alms giving with Ann and explored the village by motorbike showing just how beautiful rural Thailand is.

How can anybody not love it out here in the Thai provinces 🇹🇭

Today I visit Klong Toey, often referred to as a "slum" or portrayed as a dangerous neighborhood. Klong Toey is Thailand's largest slum area by title, however, if you go to Klong Toey and interact with the locals, you will see the overwhelming friendliness of the people within. This Bangkok neighborhood is one of my favorites to visit, today I bring my mate @JackTorr and we come to drink some beers and enjoy great times with the locals in Klong Toey. Throughout my travels of Thailand, I have yet to see a single Dangerous Neighborhood, or even be in an area I feel uncomfortable.

Die Kulisse von der Region rund um Krabi könnte nicht spektakulärer sein: mit türkisem Wasser, schroffen grünbewachsenen Kalksteinfelsen und hellen Sandstränden. Dort treffen Nina und Jonas einen Biologen, der geschädigte Korallenriffe restauriert. In sechs Metern Tiefe lernen sie seine Arbeit kennen und dürfen mit anpacken. Die Strände rund um Krabi gehören zu den schönsten in ganz Thailand. Der berühmte Railay-Strand sieht aus wie die Kulisse eines Reisemagazins. Mit dem Boot geht es auf die Insel Koh Hong - auch hier gibt es Tropenstrand vom Feinsten. In Bangkok erleben Nina und Jonas das buddhistischen Fest Loi Krathong.

In Thailand ist der Nationalsport Thai-Boxen nach wie vor eine Männerdomäne, aber immer mehr Mädchen und Frauen zieht es in den Ring. Nina und Jonas treffen Nong Toom - ein ehemals männlicher Boxer, der sich durch die Preisgelder geschlechtsangleichende Operationen finanzierte und vom Kämpfer zur Kämpferin wurde. Die Boxerin unterrichtet mittlerweile im eigenen Studio und zeigt Nina, wie sie ordentlich austeilen kann. Ein Besuch der eindrucksvollen Tempelruinen von Ayutthaya und der Erawan-Nationalpark mit seinen türkisfarbenen Wasserfällen rundet ihre Reise ab.

Der größte Buddha des Landes, das Lichterfest Loy Krathong, traumhafte Strände und die Metropole Bangkok sind nur einige Highlights, die Nina Heins und Jonas Weinhold auf ihrer Reise durch den Süden Thailands besuchen. Sie lernen beim Thai-Boxen ordentlich auszuteilen, restaurieren mit einem Meeresbiologen Korallen und schlemmen sich durch die Küche des asiatischen Landes. Die Kulisse von der Region rund um Krabi könnte nicht spektakulärer sein: mit türkisem Wasser, schroffen grünbewachsenen Kalksteinfelsen und hellen Sandstränden. Dort treffen Nina und Jonas einen Biologen, der geschädigte Korallenriffe restauriert. In sechs Metern Tiefe lernen sie seine Arbeit kennen und dürfen mit anpacken. Die Strände rund um Krabi gehören zu den schönsten in ganz Thailand. Der berühmte Railay-Strand sieht aus wie die Kulisse eines Reisemagazins. Mit dem Boot geht es auf die Insel Koh Hong - auch hier gibt es Tropenstrand vom Feinsten. In Bangkok erleben Nina und Jonas das buddhistischen Fest Loi Krathong.
