"Still" Single by Commodores from the album Midnight Magic 1979
Lady, morning's just a moment away,
And I'm without you once again ...

This video is the third and final (for now) show covering the radio Top 40 hits of the 1970s. In this episode, Z-Bear highlights songs with a distinctive boogie or funk base. Most of these are not officially considered Disco though the influence of the genre is definitely easy to hear in these songs.

Enjoy the trip back to the era of Saturday Night Fever and bell bottoms. As always, mahalo for watching!

U2’s Bono introduces Dutch drummer Bram van den Berg at the second night @ the Sphere in Las Vegas

Tomi Lahren's comment about the WNBA is sparking major backlash. 😳

Tomi Lahren: "The Black lesbians of the WNBA think that they own the WNBA. They do not." 💀

The context:

The comment was made regarding the Sophie Cunningham and Sydney Colson incident.

The WNBA has become a battleground for culture war debates.

Sophie Cunningham's political stance has divided fans and players.

Lahren's comment is being called out as divisive and inflammatory.

Why this is controversial:

It targets players based on race and sexuality.

It reduces a complex situation to a broad attack.

Many fans and analysts are condemning the comment.

Others are defending Lahren's right to speak.

The bigger picture:

The WNBA is experiencing unprecedented growth and attention.

But political and cultural debates are overshadowing the basketball.

Players, media, and fans are all divided.

The league is navigating a difficult moment.

What do you think of Lahren's comment? Comment below! 👇

LYRICS:
She cut me loose and caught herself a somewhere wind
I haven’t heard a word and haven’t seen her since
She disappeared quicker than this double shot of Jim
‘Cause everybody at the bar started askin’
“How’s your girl?”
She ain’t my girl
“Where she been?”
I ain’t quite sure
Good question, no tellin’, but I’m bettin’

She’s probably in Texas
Amarillo all I know
George Strait said it
Yeah that’s where all them exes go
If she ain’t with me out here in Tennessee
Then I don’t know where she’s headed
If I’m guessin’, I reckon
She’s probably in Texas
She’s probably in Texas

She might be down in Georgia at her mama’s for the week
Could be Carolina, California, somethin’s tellin’ me
She’s somewhere in the Lone Star state with all the rest
Yeah that one King song knows best

She’s probably in Texas
Amarillo all I know
George Strait said it
Yeah that’s where all them exes go
If she ain’t with me out here in Tennessee
Then I don’t know where she’s headed
If I’m guessin’, I reckon
She’s probably in Texas
She’s probably in Texas

“How’s your girl?”
She ain’t my girl
“Where she been?”
I ain’t quite sure
Good question, no tellin’, but I’m bettin’

She’s probably in Texas
Amarillo all I know

Yeah that’s where all them exes go
If she ain’t with me out here in Tennessee
Then I don’t know where she’s headed

Fried chicken is so popular that the Philippines even have its own fried chicken brand. It’s also a dream food that some poor Filipinos can’t afford in real life.

Low-income earners can only eat chicken bones with bits of meat left. This kind of food from organic waste is called in Tagalog “Pagpag”.

Even if it is not hygienic and dangerous to health, it’s the only way to survive for many poor people in the slums of the Philippines.

This episode has been filmed in May 2017.

BACOLOD, PHILIPPINES - Welcome to Bacolod, one of the food capitals of the Philippines! They are known for a few speciality foods, but probably the most famous, and a food you’ll find all over the Philippines is chicken inasal - a unique style of barbecue chicken! Today we’re going on an ultimate bbq tour in Bacolod, and we’re going to uncover the secret as to why it’s so good!

The Bacolod Food Hunters (https://bacolodfoodhunters.com/) - Huge thank you to Martin and the team from The Bacolod Food Hunters for taking me around in Bacolod and for showing me some of the best places to eat bbq!

Here are the locations and the places we ate in this video:

Aida's Chicken (https://goo.gl/maps/enTN2NsSg71cAiySA) - We’re starting at Manokan Country, probably the most famous place in Bacolod for chicken inasal, and it’s really so incredibly iconic. There are a few dozen places to choose from, but Martin recommended Aida’s as one of the local favorites. We were lucky to get into the kitchen to see the grilling action, and it’s some of the most exciting grill action you’ll see! One of the secrets of chicken inasal, along with all the marinade, is the continual basting of chicken oil and anatto as its being grilled. This keeps the chicken juicy and moist, and when you eat it, you eat more chicken oil in the rice.
Total price - 687 PHP ($12.53) for everything.

Chai Rose Barbecue (https://goo.gl/maps/azVUccHJSSRMQCxj6) - To continue this Filipino food tour we went to another legendary bbq spot on Bacolod known as Chai Rose Barbecue. They have insasal as well, but their speciality is pork bbq skewers. The taste is sweet and salty and it goes great along with chicken oil rice as well.

Silay City BBQ - We continued on to a small Filipino barbecue stall under a tree in Silay City. The family was so friendly and welcoming, and they have the full bbq spread of about 20 different skewers to choose from. The bbq was hot and delicious and especially good with Aunty’s homemade chili vinegar.
Total price - 170 PHP ($3.10)

Man Plaza - Finally to complete this Filipino street food tour of barbecue and inasal in Bacolod we went to one more legendary place - a place that’s frequented by local students in the area - Man Plaza. It’s an entire bbq plaza all under one roof with about a dozen stalls to choose from. We chose a place called Royam’s. Expect plenty of smoke and friendly people!

And that completes this ultimate Philippines barbecue inasal tour in Bacolod, one of the world’s greatest grilled chicken recipes!
