BORACAY PHILIPPINES TOUR 2023 | Number 1 MOST Sought After White Beach in the Philippines! | Boracay, Island

So here is how our Boracay tour went. Booked a ticket from Philippine Airlines (NAIA Terminal 2 to Caticlan Airport).
Upon arriving to Caticlan Airport, you may either choose a private van or a tricycle to take you to Caticlan Jetty Port Terminal (Tricycle is only 50 Pesos per person). When you get to Caticlan Jetty Port, expect lots of lining up specially if you visit on weekends!
Only requirements to get a boat ticket to Boracay is a valid ID and hotel booking confirmation. Once you have the requirements ready, just start lining up at the registration & verification counter. Afterwards, proceed to the Ticketing Booth to pay for the terminal fee (150 Pesos), Environmental Fee (150 Pesos), and boat fare (50 Pesos). Total costs of all fees is 350 Pesos (local tourists).
When you finally got your ticket, just proceed to your assigned boat. Expected travel time from Caticlan Port to Boracay Island is only around 15 minutes.
When you get to Boracay Island, the main public transport to get around are tricycles. You’ll find lots of tricycles just outside the port to take you to your hotel.

Did you know that there was a time when the Philippines helped South Korea? In 1950, around the beginning of the Korean War, the Philippines swiftly passed Republic Act 573, as part of the United Nations to send military to aid in South Korea. The Philippine Expeditionary Force to Korea (PEFTOK) was formed, consisting of 7,420 personnel divided into five Battalion Combat Teams (BCTs). During the Korean war, Filipino troops displayed bravery despite fighting for another land. 116 soldiers were killed, 299 were wounded, and 57 went missing. Remarkably, 41 of the missing soldiers were later repatriated through Prisoner of War exchanges. This historic event holds immense significance for Korea-Philippines relations, shaping present-day relations, and fostering friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

As part of the ongoing tension in the South China Sea China recently installed a FLOATING BARRIER around 120 miles from the Philippines to prevent its fishing industry from accessing the waters. The Philippines RETALIATED by removing the Barrier and is now awaiting China's response. UNCLOS is an organisation that has set boundaries for the ownership of international waters however CHINA has refused to accept these boundaries and has claimed the vast majority of the SOUTH CHINA SEA. Much of the water and the islands are closer to other countries such as The Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia and China's refusal to drop its claims has resulted in various conflicts and loss of life. Recently China has threatened the Philippines and the situation has the potential to boil over as the USA is supportive of the Philippines position. In this video I provide full details of the latest South China Sea Dispute and discuss the potential impact on the Global Economy.

It snowed 30 inches (76 cm) in less than 12 hrs but I was comfy and warm in my dugout shelter (snow cave) under 10 feet (3 meters) of snow. I built a mass snow cave the size of a small cabin carved from the snow in the Alaskan Mountains. But while the solo camping was comfortable, the return home was very not, my poor car was buried and it took me 3 hrs to dig myself to freedom and only after a lot of help from strangers.
