We go to RV parks and campgrounds throughout the country as often as we can. <br /><br />We just got back from an excellent weekend out camping in east texas, and I learned a valuable thing that I want to share with you. We ran out of Liquid Propane in one of our LP tanks, and thankfully the campground we were at had a Propane refill station there on site. So we had it refilled, and when the campground operator brought it back to us, he used a leak detector spray to make sure the propane tank was not leaking. <br /><br />Why is this important you ask, well, low and behold, our tank was not leaking, but one of the hoses going to the propane regulator was leaking. Siargao after 9 pm feels like a different island!

Tourism Road in General Luna fills up fast. Music spills into the street. Bars are packed. People moving from one spot to the next. Some places chill, some loud, some full party mode. This is what Philippines nightlife actually looks like on a busy night in Siargao.

By day it is a surf island.
At night it turns into one of the most talked about party spots in the Philippines.

Walking through Tourism Road at night shows the real atmosphere. No talking. No staging. Just the natural sounds, the crowd, the lights, and the energy of General Luna.

China claims almost all of the South China Sea, including the Second Thomas Shoal. Several Southeast Asian states have made conflicting and sometimes overlapping claims in the South China Sea. Beijing rejected a 2016 ruling by the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague that said that China's claims did not have any basis under international law. In July, China and the Philippines reached a "provisional arrangement" aimed at ending maritime confrontations near the Second Thomas Shoal, allowing Manila to resupply the atoll. The Philippines deliberately ran aground the Sierra Madre ship on the Second Tomas Shoal in 1999 in order to assert Manila's sovereignty over the area. Filipino troops are stationed on the shipwreck and require regular resupply.
