In her aptly titled autobiography, Between a Heart and a Rock Place, Pat Benatar revealed that it was never her intention to become a solo artist. Her initial dream was to be the lead singer of a rock band – just as Robert Plant was to Led Zeppelin or Van Morrison was to the Doors.

Pat Benator wanted to form a musical relationship like Mick Jagger did with Keith Richards, but since she was a classically trained singer, she had no clue how to make that intense vision a reality even though she possessed extensive musical knowledge.

Pat Benatar had to learn to believe in her own dreams. But once she started developing some momentum through a series of small victories, her vision slowly started to take form. After releasing her first album in 1979 and embarking on her first road tour, she knew that she had finally found her place in life. 40 years later, and she is considered to be one of the most influential female musicians of all time.

ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.

The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.

This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.

Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

An international partnership of five space agencies from 15 countries operates the station, and it has been continuously occupied since November 2000.
