I embark on a Fall Solo Camping and Bushcraft Trip, where I forage and harvest Wild Chaga Tea, build a Bushcraft Ladder, and camp under a Tarp with a beautiful Campfire.

I've felt overwhelmed with constant stimulus and distractions in my life recently. So I decided to get back into nature and enjoy some time alone. I made the decision to fast for 36 hours while out there, and I wouldnt be talking or getting distracted in any other way.

I don't fast often, but I have gone long periods of time without eating, most notable on a 9 day stretch while surviving in the Labrador Wilderness - so I was sort of prepared for this one mentally. Regardless, one of the things ive come to learn from it is I get very vivid dreams and seem to wake up every hour - not in torment, in fact it's a daze like state which is easy to fall back asleep, and I wake rested. But it's just something Ive found. The Fast gave me an amazing reset in my life. I will definitely be doing another trip like this!

This is a fully immersive ASMR adventure, where I build a number of bushcraft projects, including a Pot hanging Tripod, Backpack Hanging Stick, Bushcraft Ladder, and even some flyfishing and crayfish catching.

The weather spoils me with warmth and sun, which means I can be dressed lightly and will have the opportunity to swim in the river and sunbathe. I spent the day near the river. I cooked myself a delicious lunch. The fries and avocado sandwich were delicious! This is an amazing place. I want to come back here again. Camping Recipe:
Potatoes with vegetables: cut potatoes into cubes. Fry in olive oil. After 5 minutes, add finely chopped onions and mushrooms. When the potatoes are ready. Sprinkle with finely chopped garlic and green onions. You can add salt and add your favorite seasonings to taste.
Guacamole 🥑: mash the ripe avocado with a fork. Add finely chopped red onion and pepper. Chop cilantro and parsley. Salt. Mix everything thoroughly. Fry the bread in olive oil until golden brown. Spread our avocado mixture on top of the bread. Enjoy delicious cooked food 🥰🏕️ this is a very healthy and tasty recipe 😋

This is The World's Smallest Computer

At first you might think of this famous picture. But that isn't actually a computer. It's a set of 128 IBM computers. Just 1 of those computers in a pile of salt, looks like this, and can run Doom. But until 2022, those were actually the smallest computers.

Now, scientists have made one a lot smaller.

It's made by a team at the University of Michigan. And their goal is to get computers small enough to fit in biological cells. This is what they have so far. A tiny computer programmed by flashing light in a pattern. Some of them even have image sensors. And compared to a grain of rice, this is what it looks like.

Doc McGregor, former surgeon become player, is wrongly accused of murder and pursued by Slade, a bounty hunter. In his escape he finds Larry Kitchener's corpse and decides to impersonate him. But his problems get worse as Kitchener was a famous gunslinger hired as sheriff for the people from Baldosas to stop Reyes, a Mexican bandit who has terrorized them.

Carl Möhner is Doc, a former surgeon turned drunkard and gambler with a price on his head. A bounty hunter called Slade is on his trail, but Slade has never seen his face. To confuse Slade, Doc adopts the name of a dead man who went by the name of Kitschner and was known for his golden guns. In a small western town Doc is now taken for a famous gunslinger and offered the job of sheriff. He accepts the offer, mainly because he has an eye on a local beauty, but now the bandits who have killed Kitschner, think the man with the golden gun is still alive ...

A bit slow and predictable at first, the story picks up in the second half with a few plot twists and a flamboyant performance by Fernando Sancho as a sadistic Mexican bandit who enjoys shooting unarmed people, including women and children. The script is a nice variation on the doppelgänger motiv, with Mohner as the man who eventually starts identifying himself with the person whose name and fame he has stolen, becoming a better person in the process: the swindler really becomes the sheriff and the defender of the townspeople and also uses his neglected skills as a surgeon in the film's redemptive finale.

No less than four people contributed to the script and they all seem to have pushed forward their own ideas. As a result the narrative is meandering, with some story elements developed better than others, but at least the busy plot will have you guessing what will happen next. The movie is by no means great, but it's one of those minor genre entries that are easy to enjoy. The part of the intellectual turned cardsharp turned sheriff suits Möhner well and Davila is solid as the man on his trail who eventually becomes his deputy in the border town. The Italian title, L'uomo dalla pistola d'oro/The man with the golden gun, might have been a reference to Edward Dmytryk's Warlock, an very popular film in Mediterranean countries and released as L'homme aux colts d'or (The Man with the Golden Guns) in France and under similar titles in other countries. A frontier family is celebrating the return of a gift-bearing father when the Indians attack, killing everyone but the young daughter they carry off as a captive.
