Legendary country artist, Mel Tillis achieved his greatest career <br />success in the '70s when he charted with many top ten hits. Tillis' <br />achivements also include winning the CMA Award for Entertainer of the <br />Year in 1976 and being awarded the National Medal of Arts for his <br />contributions to country music in 2012.<br /><br />"I Believe In You" was <br />released in 1978 from his album of the same name, and reached number one<br /> on the US and Canadian country charts and number fourty four on the US <br />Adult/Contemporary chart that year.<br /><br />This performance was recorded live at Church Street Station in Orlando, Florida.
In 1962, Mel Tillis finally reached the success he was looking for with a string of top ten hits, including "These Lonely Hands of Mine" and "Heaven Everyday".<br /><br />In 2007, Tillis was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, as well as The Grand Ole Opry.<br /><br />This performance was recorded live at Church Street Station in Orlando, Florida.
