Over 250 people were killed at the Tribe of Nova Festival in Re’im, Israel on Saturday – one of the deadliest sites of Hamas’s surprise attack on Israel. The festival took place just three miles from the Gaza Strip. Many attendees were also taken hostage and brought back to Gaza.

The Supernova music festival began at about 10pm on Friday, just hours after Israel's week-long Sukkot religious festival. Thousands of young people signed up for the party but were not told the exact location until a few hours before. The festival took place at Kibbutz Re'im, 3 miles from the Gaza border. At dawn, hundreds of people were still partying when Hamas militants launched a surprise attack. Footage shared on social media showed revellers fleeing on foot while others were taken hostage and believed to have been taken into Gaza. At least 260 people were killed

Footage circulated on social media showed hundreds of people screaming and crying as they tried to flee.

Footage circulated online shows the harrowing moment a young woman is snatched by Hamas terrorists and dragged away as she pleads for her life.

The woman was at a festival in the desert when the militants dragged her away on a motorcycle as she begged "Don't kill me".

Hamas militants have fired thousands of rockets and sent dozens of fighters into Israeli towns near the Gaza Strip in an unprecedented surprise early morning attack during a major Jewish holiday. Israel says it’s now at war with Hamas and launched airstrikes in Gaza, vowing to inflict an “unprecedented price.” Israel says at least 200 people have been killed and 1,100 wounded, making it the deadliest attack in years. The military confirmed that a number of Israeli soldiers and civilians had been seized and taken into Gaza. At least 198 people in the Gaza Strip have been killed in Israel’s retaliation and at least 1,610 wounded.

Israel has vowed unprecedented retaliation against the Hamas militant group ruling the Palestinian territory after its fighters stormed through the border fence Saturday and gunned down hundreds of Israelis in their homes, on the streets and at an outdoor music festival.

Airstrikes smashed entire city blocks to rubble in the tiny coastal enclave and left unknown numbers of bodies beneath mounds of debris. The bombardment raged on even though militants are holding an estimated 150 people dragged from Israel into Gaza — soldiers, men, women, children and older adults.
