A North Shore mother and daughter are among those missing in Israel following this weekend's surprise attack by Hamas. Family and friends fear they were taken hostage in Gaza. CBS 2's Charlie De Mar spoke to a family rabbi.

Rishi Sunak will hold a Cobra meeting later on Monday after days of escalating violence in Israel and Gaza following the attack by Hamas.

Around 50,000 to 60,000 British nationals are believed to be in either Israel and Gaza, the Government estimates, amid concerns for their safety following the latest upsurge in violence in the region.

TalkTV’s Julia Hartley-Brewer is joined by the Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem, Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, who says that Hamas’s attack on Israel is “nothing less than a massacre.”

“People were executed in their own beds, elderly people, babies, children. They did not discriminate.”

JERUSALEM and TEL AVIV, Israel – Rocket fire from the Gaza Strip continued to pummel southern Israel on Wednesday, day 5 of the Israel-Hamas war.

Meanwhile, Israel says it struck at least 450 Hamas targets in Gaza in the last 24 hours, while Israeli ground forces mass on the border for an imminent invasion.

The death toll in Israel continues to climb – more than 1,200 civilians dead, 170 soldiers slain, and more than 3,500 Israelis wounded. Forty murdered Israeli babies were found among the massacred civilians, and some of those babies had been beheaded.
