Ce mercredi, les soldats israéliens ont pu accéder au kibboutz de Kfar Aza, à moins de 4 km de la bande de Gaza, où ont eu lieu des combats acharnés. Sur place, des journalistes ont constaté l'abominable scène, qui s'était nouée plus tôt déjà à Be'Eri, vingt kilomètres plus au Sud. Dans le village de Kfar Aza, plus de cent civils, dont des enfants, ont été massacrés, selon des militaires israéliens.
Quatre jours après le début des attaques terroristes du Hamas en Israël, les soldats de l'armée israélienne et les journalistes internationaux ont découvert l’horreur qui a frappé, samedi 7 octobre au petit matin, les deux kibboutz de Kfar Aza et Beeri en Israël, à quelques kilomètres de la frontière de la bande de Gaza. «Je n’ai jamais vu une chose pareille de toute ma vie. Ce n’est pas une guerre, ce n’est pas un champ de bataille. C’est un massacre, c’est une activité terroriste», déplore le major israélien Itaï Virov.

Israel said it is now at war with Hamas and launched airstrikes in Gaza, vowing to inflict an “unprecedented price.”
Hamas militants were still fighting gunbattles inside several Israeli communities hours after the incursion began. Israel’s national rescue service said at least 70 people were killed and hundreds wounded, making it the deadliest attack in Israel in years. An unknown number of Israeli soldiers and civilians were also seized and taken into Gaza, an enormously sensitive issue for Israel.
