Rishi Sunak will hold a Cobra meeting later on Monday after days of escalating violence in Israel and Gaza following the attack by Hamas.

Around 50,000 to 60,000 British nationals are believed to be in either Israel and Gaza, the Government estimates, amid concerns for their safety following the latest upsurge in violence in the region.

TalkTV’s Julia Hartley-Brewer is joined by the Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem, Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, who says that Hamas’s attack on Israel is “nothing less than a massacre.”

“People were executed in their own beds, elderly people, babies, children. They did not discriminate.”
