Perched around 3,600 feet and surrounded by 5,000-foot peaks, The Barlow trades water parks and playgrounds for tranquility, cool mountain air, and unbeatable summer temps – a comfortable 73° here while Charlotte was baking in the mid-90s. It's a premium spot built by RV travelers who wanted something quieter and more thoughtful, and it's ideal for couples, especially if you're rolling in with a dog.
