Why choose the wild over convenience and hookups? As a full-time RVer, I almost exclusively choose dispersed camping (boondocking) over crowded RV parks.

Ever wondered what campground owners really think when you drive in? 🤔 In this video, John & Mercedes of the RV Odd Couple share the Top 5 Things Campground Owners Hate—straight from the perspective of people who run RV parks and campgrounds every day.

If you’re an RVer, full-time RVer, weekend camper, or love staying at RV parks, this video might help you avoid some common mistakes that frustrate campground owners. From blocking campground roads and trying to bend the rules to save a few dollars, to dealing with aggressive dogs, cluttered campsites, and settling disputes between neighbors, these are the things campground owners wish every camper knew.

Our goal isn’t to call anyone out—it’s to help make the camping experience better for everyone. Whether you’re new to the RV lifestyle or a seasoned traveler, a little campground etiquette goes a long way.

Have you ever worked at a campground or owned an RV park? We’d love to hear your biggest pet peeve in the comments! And if you’re an RVer, tell us the funniest campground complaint you’ve ever witnessed.

Think you've heard it all when it comes to RV advice? Think again.

In this video, we're breaking down some of the dumbest RV advice people still believe—from "leave your black tank open" to "you need a diesel" and other campground myths that just won't die. If you've spent any time around RV parks, you've probably heard at least a few of these...and maybe even believed one yourself.

Whether you're a full-time RVer, weekend camper, or just getting started, you'll recognize these classic pieces of campground "wisdom" and hopefully get a good laugh along the way.

In this video:
"My buddy's been doing it for years..."
Just use Flex Seal
Leave your black tank open
You need a diesel
Buy everything before your first trip
Fill your fresh water tank before every trip
Just eyeball it
Always leave the water heater on
If you've ever been given RV advice that made you stop and think, "That can't possibly be right," leave it in the comments. Your story might end up in Part 2.

I went camping on a rainy day with a new pop-up caravan

This trailer opened up into a cozy camping space, and the warm interior light made the rainy forest feel even more peaceful
As the rain gently fell outside, I was able to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing camping trip inside the caravan

The sound of rain falling on the roof, the cozy orange light, and the quiet forest atmosphere made this rainy camp feel really special
I hope this video helps you relax and enjoy the peaceful feeling of camping in the rain

Pebble Flow Can Self Drive with Two Electric Motors, a good sized Battery and Solar on the roof! I've Slept inside a Cybertruck, how does this compare? Is this the future? Let's go camping and let you know what I think!

Check it out here: https://pebblelife.com/

I love my cybertruck! Honestly I bought it for the meme, now it is my favorite to drive but man, I wish I could sleep in it without having to buy a tent.

We’ve been in Florida for almost three weeks, after kicking off 2026 in the Florida Keys, with one big goal: visiting all 50 U.S. states by the end of 2026. This is State #11, and before checking Florida off the list, there was one place everyone said we had to stay—Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

Often ranked as one of the best RV campgrounds in Florida and even the best campground at Disney World, Fort Wilderness gets a lot of hype. But there’s a catch we’ve never been to Fort Wilderness or Disney World. And the advice we kept hearing? “Newbies should avoid this campground.”

So naturally, we booked it anyway.

We stayed in a Premium Full Hookup RV site with electric, water, sewer, and a concrete pad, so the RV part was easy. The real challenge was navigating Fort Wilderness and Disney World as first-timers.

In this video, we share what surprised us, what we messed up, and the big question: Is Disney’s Fort Wilderness worth it for first-time RVers and Disney newbies?

A free RV campsite with electric hookups sounds too good to be true — but this place is real.

In this video, we visit what may be the cheapest RV campground in America: a campground with 30 amp and 50 amp electric, big-rig-friendly sites, desert scenery, and a price tag of $0 per night.

Is there a catch? We’ll show you what it’s really like.

AFFILIATE LINK DISCLOSURE: Friends, making a quality Loloho video is kind of like making sausage – only slightly more violent. It's a ridiculous amount of work that typically involves high dollar camera drops, blue-screen-of-death computer crashes, and at least one angry shotgun wielding old man shouting, “Hey! Get the hell outta here!” Once the final video is posted, rewards here on YouTube are few and far between (unless you are a masochist who enjoys being verbally abused by anonymous trolls). One saving grace is our affiliate links. JUST CLICKING THESE LINKS HELPS TO SUPPORT OUR LITTLE SHOW. Think of this clicking as like tipping - except that it doesn't cost you anything extra! If you eventually make a purchase via one of our affiliate links, we will receive a few pennies (and Sean typically invests these pennies in duct tape and video gear). Again, it doesn't cost you anything to click these links, and it's a great help to us. As always, safe travels, happy camping, and THANK YOU!

☔️I spent a rainy night in a massive 3-room luxury motorhome

It was hard to believe this was really a vehicle, with such a spacious and cozy interior
Listening to the rain and spending a quiet evening inside made the whole experience feel even more special

I hope this video lets you enjoy both the peaceful sound of rain and the warm atmosphere inside the motorhome
Thank you so much for watching and spending this rainy night with me 🤍

A winter storm rolled through the Cascades, and I headed straight into it.

Snow fell hard on the drive in, the mountains disappeared into clouds, and I settled into camp to see how the RV would handle a few days off-grid in winter conditions. No hookups. No plowed campground. Just quiet forest, fresh snow, and the steady work of managing water, power, heat, and firewood while the weather moved through.

I spent the trip hiking snow-covered trails, building campfires, and adapting to changing mountain conditions. Not every storm turns into a blizzard—but even a few inches of snow can completely change the feel of a place.

This is winter RV camping in the Cascades—raw, quiet, and a reminder that sometimes the best trips are the ones that don’t go exactly as planned.

If you enjoy off-grid RV camping, winter weather, and pushing beyond the campground, subscribe and come along for the next adventure.
