Lyrics:

When I get where I'm going
On the far side of the sky
The first thing that I'm gonna do
Is spread my wings and fly

I'm gonna land beside a lion
And run my fingers through his mane
Or I might find out what it's like
To ride a drop of rain

Yeah when I get where I'm going
There'll be only happy tears
I will shed the sins and struggles
I have carried all these years
And I'll leave my heart wide open
I will love and have no fear
Yeah when I get where I'm going
Don't cry for me down here

The unprecedented response promised by Israel in the wake of the weekend's atrocities has now well and truly clicked into gear.

Earlier, the Israeli military said it had secured the border with Gaza, which is now under the heaviest bombardment in its history

Meanwhile, residents in the Israeli city of Ashkelon - close to that border - were warned to take shelter by Hamas militants.

A salvo of rocket fire then followed, the extent of the damage is still unclear.

Our Foreign Affairs Correspondent Secunder Kermani has been to the Kfar Aza kibbutz - one of those targeted by the militants on Saturday.

At one time a deep, earthy, and universally respected genre of folk music embraced by people from all walks of life, and performed by heartland poets who wrote touching melodies and thought-provoking but subtle messages about life, love, and loss, country music has now grown into a dim shadow of its former greatness.

Record companies have appropriated it for their own profit as they will with any great artistic movement. Insipid, voiceless dandies with the depth of wading pools have been propped up as the new "idols." Irresponsible and uninformed political rhetoric has usurped the lyrical foreground, alienating many fans and completely betraying the music's original status as art for the everyman, while mediocrity and uniformity sum up the musical direction.

If we can ever be blessed again by another visionary, a Williams Sr., a Cash, a Cline, or a Miller, maybe things will change. But for now, country music remains a brutally raped and distorted picture of art stolen from the artists.

Country music definition by Urban Dictionary

Due West, an energetic vocal country trio has been on the Nashville club scene since 2004. Native Westerners Matt Lopez (Wyoming), Tim Gates (Utah) and Brad Hull (Arizona) each bring to the table a piece of the magic that defines Due West.
Due West will be playing at the exclusive Harry O's night club, Friday, September 5, at 10 pm, in Park City Utah. And they will be playing at Bella's in Farr West Utah, Thursday, September 11, at 7:30 pm. Join us for the best live music and dancing in Utah.
All three Due West members are some of the best singer- songwriters in country music. Their perfect harmony and skilled musical talents, coupled with country music's defining lyrics, make them the rising stars of 2008.
