12 Inches Of SNOW! Watching Every Van Get Stuck!

In this episode of AB Camping And Outdoors, I take the Troopy on a 9-hour drive to Mount Cook National Park, New Zealand, just in time for a massive winter storm. What started as a rainy arrival quickly turned into a winter wonderland—and then a survival situation for many.

Watch as the snow piles up to nearly 30cm, heavy avalanches roar in the background, and standard campervans find themselves completely stranded in the deep, wet slush. I’ll show you how I managed the weight on the roof tent, cooked up a New Zealand rack of lamb and fluffy pancakes in the 12V air fryer, and why having the right gear (and tires!) makes all the difference when nature hits hard.
