The 2024 WNBA Expansion Draft is here! Our host make their picks for the Golden State Valkyries, the exciting new WNBA expansion team. They believe Hayley Jones from the Atlanta Dream, Lindsay Allen from the Chicago Sky, and Veronica Burton from the Connecticut Sun would be key players to build the team around. They also pick Kalani Brown from the Dallas Wings and Nalyssa Smith from the Indiana Fever as solid additions to the roster.

For the Valkyries, Travis and Ountae decide to pass on a pick from the Las Vegas Aces, but they believe Li Yueru from the LA Sparks and Alissa Pili from the Minnesota Lynx would be excellent choices. Kayla Thornton from the New York Liberty, Celeste Taylor from the Phoenix Mercury, Mackenzie Holmes from the Seattle Storm, and Brittney Sykes from the Washington Mystics round out their picks for the expansion team.
