Why We Use This $8 Part in Our PC Builds

Do you actually need an AM5 contact frame? No, but here’s why we use one in a lot of our PC builds.

The Thermalright ASF Black V2 helps keep thermal paste from collecting in the cutouts around your AM5 CPU, making cleanup easier when swapping coolers or taking your build apart.

Lower temperatures aren’t guaranteed, but for around $8, we think the easier cleanup makes it worth considering.
