Before you buy any mini PC, use the Tech Autopsy Mini PC Checklist. It shows you exactly what to check before you spend your money.

In the mini PC world, a basic mini PC board, built around Intel's N100 chip, costs somewhere between $76 and $185 to manufacture in a factory outside Shenzhen, wholesale, at order volumes as low as one or two units. On Amazon, a finished version of that same board, cased and boxed by a small Chinese brand, sells for $119 to $279. Walk into the same online marketplace and search for a similarly specced mini PC from an established Western or Taiwanese brand, and you'll pay $700, $1,200, or sometimes over $3,000 for a machine running comparable, sometimes weaker, hardware. If you like watching an entire product category get quietly rebuilt from the outside in, stick around, because this is happening in real time, and most shoppers have no idea it's happening at all.
